Career

Dina Abou Zour is a Lebanese lawyer with over fifteen years of legal experience across Lebanon, Dubai, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, advising individuals, corporations, and public stakeholders on complex legal matters. Her practice focuses on financial and banking litigation, corporate law, real estate disputes, criminal law, and personal status matters, with particular expertise in navigating high-stakes cases within evolving regulatory and financial environments. She is a Partner at Middle East & Partners Law Firm in Lebanon, where she leads and advises on multifaceted litigation and advisory mandates, representing clients before Lebanese courts and contributing to the strategic resolution of complex disputes in Lebanon and abroad. Beyond her legal practice, Dina has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to social justice and public service. For more than seven years, she worked closely on refugee protection and social advocacy, collaborating with UNICEF, UN High Commissioner for Refugees, and the Ministry of Social Affairs, providing legal and social support within vulnerable communities. She currently serves as President of the Reform Lebanon Association for Legal Studies and Proposals for Laws and Public Policies, an initiative dedicated to developing legal research, legislative proposals, and policy recommendations aimed at strengthening governance, legal reform, and institutional accountability in Lebanon. In this capacity, she also contributes her expertise as a legal advisor to members of the Lebanese Parliament, supporting legislative initiatives and policy discussions. Dina is also actively engaged in legal education and mentorship. She serves as a lecturer and trainer at the Legal Clinic of La Sagesse University, where she works with law students to bridge academic study with practical legal training, fostering the development of the next generation of legal professionals. She is an alumna of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), a prestigious professional exchange program organized by the U.S. Department of State, reflecting her engagement with international legal dialogue and human rights advocacy. In addition, Dina is a founding member of the Depositors’ Union in Lebanon, where she has played an active role in advocating for depositors’ rights in the aftermath of Lebanon’s financial crisis. She also contributes to the Depositors’ Rights Protection Committee at the Beirut Bar Association, working on legal strategies, public advocacy, and policy discussions related to financial accountability and banking reform. She managed to become a well known expert on governance and reforms matters where she collaborates with many national and international organizations on projects that serve the cause. Her professional work combines litigation, legislative engagement, policy advocacy, and legal education, positioning her as a dynamic voice within Lebanon’s legal community and a committed advocate for justice, transparency, and institutional reform.

Education

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from La Sagesse University, complemented by advanced postgraduate studies and a Master’s degree in Comparative Law, providing a strong academic foundation in both civil law traditions and comparative legal systems.
