Kypros Ioannides is a founding partner of Hadjianastassiou, Ioannides LLC with over two decades of experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and legislative reform. He holds a BA and MA in Law from the University of Cambridge and was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. His multifaceted career combines private legal practice with regulatory, academic and legislative work, making him one of Cyprus’s most well-respected corporate legal professionals.

Kypros leads the firm’s Corporate and M&A practice, regularly advising on high-profile cross-border transactions and representing clients in complex corporate disputes. He is frequently retained as an expert witness in international arbitration proceedings involving Cypriot law and has played a pivotal role in drafting key commercial and insolvency laws in Cyprus. Notably, he chaired the EU Council’s Company Law Working Group during Cyprus’s EU Presidency and served on the board of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission.
