Associate

Ileana is an Associate at BMA Legal – Bogoiu, Matei & Associates, advising clients in civil, commercial and corporate law matters. Her practice is primarily focused on legal consultancy for companies, entrepreneurs and non-profit entities operating in Romania, while also covering civil and commercial litigation. She provides ongoing corporate advisory services, assisting clients throughout the entire lifecycle of a company, from incorporation and structuring to day-to-day governance and complex corporate changes, and regularly manages Trade Register procedures, including company registrations, amendments to articles of association, changes in shareholding and management structures, capital increases and reductions, mergers, dissolutions and liquidations. She drafts, reviews and negotiates commercial agreements, supporting clients in building secure contractual frameworks and mitigating legal risks. Ileana also assists with the establishment and reorganisation of non-governmental organisations, associations and foundations, handling incorporation procedures, governance documentation, statutory amendments and regulatory compliance matters. Alongside her consultancy work, she represents clients in civil and commercial disputes before the Romanian courts, contributing to the development of procedural strategies, the drafting of claims and defences and the management of litigation proceedings. She has been a registered lawyer in Romania since 2023.
