Associate

Rodrigo focuses his practice on private equity, venture capital and real estate transactions. He works closely with international clients, particularly from Latin America, with regards to their investments and operations in the U.S.

Rodrigo advices startups in setting up their preferred corporate structures in the U.S., in order to raise capital, as well as assisting them in their fundraising rounds and day-to-day activities navigating the U.S. legal landscape. He also advices foreign entities, family companies, private investors and high-net worth individuals in setting up their investment structure and strategy in the U.S. He has significant expertise in a range of commercial agreements under both civil and common law.

Prior to joining Next Legal, Rodrigo was an associate at Baker & McKenzie and Amprimo, Flury, Barboza & Rodriguez Abogados. He has also been an adjunct professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
