Mr. Saif Al-Lami is the founder managing partner of ALSAIF Law Firm since 2008, who started his journey in the legal practice after becoming a member of the Iraqi Bar Association in 1995, during his career he has focused on providing high-quality legal services to selected clients, having quality as the priority rather than quality.
In choosing his clients, he always focuses on assisting those who are truly set to leave a positive impact in the country, leading to the development of a better Iraq.
His legal expertise has helped in enabling various major projects to come into light inside the country such:
The Karabal Oil Refinery, constructed by Hyundai Construction in 2014 to lead Iraq’s path in developing a more environmentally friendly energy sector meeting the highest global environmental standards. Maintenance of Balad Airbase by SallyPort Global in 2017 which played a crucial role in the fight against ISIS. The construction of the Basra International Stadium by Man Enterprise, which resembled Iraq’s continued efforts towards modernization and stability. Debt recollection for various foreign clients from the Iraqi government to support the Iraqi financial market reintegration with the international banking and finance sectors.Mr Saif has provided his services in the registration and compliance of over 500 Iraqi and foreign companies working inside Iraq since the late 1990s which he is proud to say that they made Iraq a better place. With his experience, he enables the firm in providing high quality services to its clients in the fields of Investment, Banking and Finance Laws, Company law, Tax Law, Labour Law and Commercial Law.
