María Pilar has extensive experience in tax and corporate matters. She has participated in tax advisory and corporate reorganisation processes for domestic and international clients, as well as providing tax consulting services to family-owned companies and high-net-worth individuals. Her practice also includes tax audits and representation in administrative proceedings before the tax authorities, among other matters.

She previously worked as an associate in the tax department at MBC Abogados (2021–2024), in the corporate department at Carey y Cía. (2017–2019), as a paralegal at Claro y Cía. (2015), and completed an internship in the tax department at Barros & Errázuriz (2014).
