Senior Associate

Dr. Al-Tamimi is a legal consultant at the International Legal Group, specialising in criminal and international law. He has extensive experience preparing specialised legal memoranda for complex cases and advising on high-level legal matters.

Dr. Al-Tamimi currently serves as Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Research, and Graduate Studies at the Faculty of Law, Kuwait University. He has a distinguished record in both academia and public service, having served as legal advisor to the Ministry of Finance and practised before the Kuwaiti Constitutional Court and Court of Cassation.

In addition to teaching and supervising graduate students in various criminal law disciplines, Dr. Al-Tamimi has contributed to curriculum development and served on key national committees, including those responsible for reforming Kuwait’s Penal Code and strengthening anti-money laundering regulations.

He holds a Ph.D. in Criminal Law from the University of Poitiers, France, with a specialization in international criminal law.
