Managing Partner

Abdullah Ahmad Al-Samdan is the Managing Partner and International Department Manager at ILG, with extensive expertise in civil and commercial litigation, franchising, oil and gas, intellectual property, government projects, and Islamic finance law. He has represented both domestic and international clients before courts and arbitral tribunals.

Mr. Al-Samdan advises corporate clients on complex transactions, negotiates and drafts commercial agreements, and handles a wide range of disputes, including anti-corruption, labour, and regulatory matters. He also conducts due diligence and compliance reviews, ensuring best governance practices.

Through his leadership of ILG’s International Department, he manages multi-jurisdictional cases, develops strategic legal solutions, and fosters global partnerships, reinforcing ILG’s position as a leading law firm in Kuwait and the Middle East.

He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Business and Finance from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Laws with a High Diploma in Advanced Islamic Finance from Kuwait University.
