Partner and Founder

Prof. Ahmad Al-Samdan is a Partner at ILG and a distinguished legal scholar with over 40 years of experience in corporate and commercial litigation, arbitration, and intellectual property. He has represented clients and advised institutions at both national and regional levels, combining legal practice, academic excellence, and public service.

Prof. Al-Samdan serves as Chair of the Academic Publication Council at Kuwait University and as Secretary-General of the National Committee for the Prevention of Drugs, providing strategic legal guidance on public welfare and policy matters. He previously held positions as Dean of the Faculty of Law and Professor of Private International Law at Kuwait University and has advised numerous governmental and commercial institutions, including Customs, the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, and the Private Universities Council.

A prolific author, Prof. Al-Samdan has published over 19 research papers and authored four academic books, contributing significantly to scholarship in arbitration and international law.
