Arkan and LOYAC Launch Legal Clinic Program for Youth in Kuwait

Kuwait – Arkan Legal Consultants has partnered with LOYAC to launch a Legal Clinic programme designed to strengthen legal awareness among young people and promote a practical understanding of the law through interactive, experience-based learning.
The initiative reflects a shared commitment to equipping the next generation with the legal knowledge and critical thinking skills needed to navigate an increasingly complex social and digital environment. By combining Arkan's legal expertise with LOYAC's long-standing commitment to youth development, the programme introduces participants to the practical application of law through engaging and accessible learning experiences.
The Legal Clinic is designed for participants aged 14 to 18 and adopts a practice-oriented approach to legal education. Throughout the programme, participants will examine legal issues that have a direct impact on young people, including cybercrime, bullying, theft, assault and drug-related offences. Sessions are delivered through interactive workshops, legal discussions, role-playing exercises and real-world case studies led by experienced legal professionals.
Beyond legal awareness, the programme seeks to foster critical thinking, responsible decision-making, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills. By encouraging participants to analyse real-life legal scenarios, the initiative aims to build confidence in understanding rights, responsibilities and the broader role of the legal system in society.
Commenting on the collaboration, Dr. Fayez Al-Fadhli, Managing Partner of Arkan , said:
"Legal awareness is an essential component of an informed and responsible society. Through our partnership with LOYAC, we are committed to making legal education more accessible and engaging for young people, helping them understand not only the law but also the importance of ethical decision-making and civic responsibility."
The Legal Clinic forms part of Arkan's broader commitment to advancing legal knowledge beyond traditional legal practice. Through partnerships with educational and community organisations, the firm continues to support initiatives that promote legal literacy, encourage informed citizenship and strengthen the connection between legal professionals and the communities they serve.
As Kuwait continues to place increasing emphasis on youth development and community engagement, initiatives such as the Arkan–LOYAC Legal Clinic demonstrate how collaboration between the legal profession and civil society can contribute to building a more legally aware and socially responsible generation.
