Jorge Yaafar concentrates his practice on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, estate planning, and complex cross-border structuring.

Jorge regularly advises local and international clients on sophisticated corporate transactions, including share and asset acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations, and private investment structures. He has significant experience coordinating multi-party transactions involving banks, fiduciaries, regulatory authorities, and international counsel. His work frequently involves the structuring of real estate development projects, escrow and fiduciary arrangements, shareholder agreements, and risk-mitigation mechanisms under Panamanian law.

In addition to transactional work, Jorge advises multinational companies on regulatory compliance matters, including sanitary registrations, corporate governance, beneficial ownership reporting, and commercial licensing. He has represented regional and global clients in the consumer goods, food and beverage, logistics, and financial services sectors in connection with market entry and operational structuring in Panama.

Jorge is particularly recognized for his strategic and commercially driven advice, combining technical precision with practical business solutions. Clients value his responsiveness, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex matters efficiently.

He is actively involved in international legal networks, including AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers), where he participates in cross-border initiatives and professional conferences.
