Position
Carina Vermesan is a Partner in the firm’s Dispute Resolution & Regulatory practice and heads the litigation practice at Andronic and Partners.
Her work covers complex corporate disputes, regulatory matters, intellectual property, consumer protection, energy-related projects, and alternative dispute resolution. She advises and represents clients in matters that often require a combination of litigation strategy, regulatory insight, and a clear understanding of the client’s commercial objectives.
Carina is particularly experienced in handling disputes with a strong technical or commercial dimension, including matters involving software, intellectual property rights, contractual relationships, and regulated industries. Her approach is strategic, thorough, and focused on achieving practical outcomes, whether through court proceedings, negotiation, or alternative dispute resolution.
Career
Carina has built a strong profile as a disputes and regulatory lawyer, combining litigation experience with academic expertise in contract law, intellectual property, and technology-related legal issues.
She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. focused on the legal protection of software, reflecting her particular interest in the intersection between law, technology, and intellectual property. She also teaches Contract Law and Intellectual Property seminars at the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Law.
Carina holds an LL.M. in international arbitration from the University of Bucharest and graduated first in her series from the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest. Her academic background complements her practical work, especially in matters involving complex contractual structures, IP protection, software, and technology-driven businesses.
