Mohammad Khair AlSabbagh is a senior legal practitioner with more than four decades of legal experience, combining an extensive judicial background with a decade of active leadership in private legal practice. Over the past ten years in particular, he has focused on complex litigation, arbitration, and high-value dispute resolution, representing major corporations, financial institutions, and public entities in some of the most significant commercial and regulatory disputes in Jordan.

Following a distinguished judicial career culminating in senior judicial leadership positions, he transitioned to private practice and currently serves as Managing Partner AlKhair Law. He leads the firm’s dispute resolution and litigation practice, advising clients on complex commercial disputes, financial claims, regulatory conflicts, and investment-related litigation. His judicial background provides him with a unique perspective on litigation strategy, evidentiary assessment, and judicial decision-making, enabling him to guide clients effectively through highly contentious proceedings before Jordanian courts and arbitral tribunals.

Recently, he has been involved in a number of high-value disputes, including major commercial and financial litigation involving domestic and international parties. His recent litigation work includes representing clients in complex disputes with claim values reaching approximately JOD 87 million, reflecting the level of confidence placed in his professional judgment and litigation strategy. These matters often involve multi-layered contractual arrangements, regulatory considerations, and financial claims requiring detailed evidentiary analysis and careful procedural management.

In addition to court litigation, he regularly acts as arbitrator in complex commercial disputes, including cases involving large Jordanian corporates and foreign investors. His arbitration work frequently involves disputes arising from commercial contracts, investment arrangements, and infrastructure or financial sector transactions. His ability to evaluate legal issues with both judicial neutrality and practical legal insight has made him a trusted figure in high-value arbitration proceedings.

His legal practice also extends to advising boards of directors, financial institutions, and major corporations on governance, compliance, and legal risk management. Clients frequently seek his advice in matters involving regulatory investigations, corporate governance frameworks, and disputes affecting publicly listed companies or regulated sectors.

Alongside his legal practice, Mohammad Khair AlSabbagh continues to play an active role in corporate governance and institutional oversight. He currently serves as Vice Chairman and Board Member of AT Securities Plc., contributing to regulatory compliance, governance frameworks, and strategic oversight in the capital markets sector. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Al Rai Newspaper Plc., where he participates in several key governance committees including audit, risk and governance, nominations and remuneration, and financial oversight committees.

In addition, he has served on the boards of major public utility and industrial companies, including electricity distribution entities and industrial production companies, where he has contributed to strategic decision-making, regulatory compliance, and institutional governance.

His broader institutional experience also includes serving as Vice President of the Insurance Committee at the Social Security Corporation, where he contributed to policy oversight affecting national insurance and social protection frameworks. He was also appointed as a member of the Royal Committee to Modernise the Political System in Jordan, participating in the development of legislative proposals aimed at strengthening democratic governance and electoral regulation.

Through his combination of judicial experience, high-value litigation practice, arbitration work, and board-level governance roles, Mr AlSabbagh continues to play a central role in complex dispute resolution and legal advisory matters in Jordan’s legal and commercial landscape.
