Merel Zwankhuizen is the founder and managing partner of Your Corporate Notary. She is a Dutch civil law notary with more than 20 years of experience advising on high-value corporate M&A, private equity transactions, complex cross-border restructurings and corporate governance matters.

Merel is recognised for advising private equity sponsors, corporates, founders and management teams on sophisticated domestic and international transactions. Her practice covers the full investment lifecycle, including platform acquisitions, buy-and-build strategies, management rollovers and participation structures, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations and governance projects. Clients value her ability to combine technical Dutch corporate law expertise with strategic transaction management, guiding complex deals from structuring through signing, closing and post-completion implementation.
