Merel Zwankhuizen is founder and partner of Your Corporate Notary. Merel is a Dutch civil law notary and corporate lawyer with 20 years of experience in corporate M&A and related notarial law. Merel’s expertise includes high-end corporate M&A, private equity transactions, complex (cross-border) restructurings, joint ventures, management and employee participations and corporate governance matters.

Merel Zwankhuizen earned nominations for ‘Civil Law Notary of the Year’ in 2020 and ‘Best M&A Lawyer Mid Market’ in 2024 and 2025. Beyond her corporate practice, Merel also serves as a Disciplinary Court Member and as a lecturer specialising in Dutch corporate and business law.
