Madeleine is a Senior Associate in Rosenblatt's Litigation team, joining the firm in November 2020.

She specialises in multi-jurisdictional disputes, civil fraud, shareholder disputes, and professional negligence.

With over 12 years of litigation experience, Madeleine also has expertise in mediation and arbitration, acting for clients across sectors like aviation and luxury vehicles.

Notable matters:

− Acting for 28,000 Nigerian clients against Shell Plc in regards to an oil spill in the Niger Delta, including in the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.

− Acting for CRF I Limited in a landmark Commercial Court sovereign debt enforcement claim against the Banco Nacional de Cuba and the Republic of Cuba.

− Advising a number of architectural practices in respect of construction insurance and risk issues

− Acting for a French client in respect of a £2million dispute with Kuwaiti, Bahraini and English based Defendants, including making a winding up petition in respect of the English based Defendants.

− Acting for an Amazon retailer in respect of withheld client funds as part of Amazon’s anti-competitive behaviour.

− Acting for South African and English based clients in respect of a freezing order in by HMRC in the sum of £1.9million.

− Acting for a client named in Cyprus Confidential.

− Acting for a Ugandan based client in respect of a cryptocurrency scam totalling $1.5million involving Tether (Hong Kong based).

− Acting for a client in respect of a section 994 unfair prejudice claim, resulting in a £1.5million settlement.

− Acting for a client in respect of an application to reinstate our client as a member of Companies House, leading to a section 994 unfair prejudice claim totalling £3million.

− Acting for of a luxury care home provider in respect to a partnership dispute totalling £1.5million.
