Ian is a litigation partner with a diverse breadth of experience in complex litigation and asset tracing/recovery matters, often with a cross-border element. These matters frequently include the obtaining of interim relief for clients including asset freezing injunctions, together with preservation of evidence and third-party disclosure orders. He is also regularly instructed to coordinate and provide strategic advice to clients as part of action taken in common law jurisdictions other than England, including the Channel Islands, the Caribbean, Cyprus, Singapore and Hong Kong.  Ian’s practice also has a concentration on banking and finance disputes with a particular focus on property acquisition finance and disputes relating to complex investment products. He also has experience in conducting major investigations for clients including those where potential fraud has arisen.
