Career

Elizabeth is a Partner specialising in Dispute Resolution and is ranked as a Next Generation Partner in Legal 500 2026. She specialises in complex, high-value, multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes, handling litigation, arbitration, and adjudication. Her expertise spans contractual disputes, commercial fraud, asset recovery, jurisdiction challenges, enforcement of foreign judgments company, shareholder, partnership and family business disputes. Elizabeth’s work often involves urgent court applications and the application of foreign law. Her private wealth experience has also seen her act for clients in the arts and luxury assets sector in both contentious and advisory spheres. She acts in proceedings brought in various divisions of the High Court, together with extensive experience of appellate proceedings in the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, and advises in proceedings governed by various arbitral institutional rules including the ICC, LCIA, LMAA and CIArb.

Elizabeth’s practice has also been dedicated to advising clients on a full range of contentious and non-contentious construction matters from advice on procurement strategy and the negotiation and implementation of construction contracts through to dispute avoidance and formal dispute resolution. Recent experience has involved acting for the one of the country’s leading residential and hotel builders in defending multiple claims for damages and building liability order proceedings; and regularly advises award-winning international architectural practices on construction insurance and risk issues.
