Career

Kerem Üler is a partner at Pelister Keki Sarac & Co. Along with Senem Sarac he is a co-chair of the firm's Employment Practice and is also a member of the ESG and Real Property practices. With over two decades of experience in employment law, corporate transactions, and ESG advisory, he brings a rare combination of deep specialist knowledge and a commercial mindset to his practice.

Kerem advises on the full spectrum of employment matters from individual and collective labor relations to complex cross-border workforce issues and even press labor law. His ESG practice focuses on helping Turkish businesses navigate emerging European sustainability and regulatory frameworks, as well as help EU based companies with their exposure to Turkey whether through subsidiaries or their supply chain. He also has extensive experience in advising Real Estate Funds on their investments in Turkey including shopping malls, residential/commercial and mixed use projects as well as greenfield developments.

Prior to joining the firm, Kerem was a founding partner of his own law firm Üler Law, a full-service Istanbul practice, and held senior roles at international firms including Salans and Denton Wilde Sapte, where he advised high-profile clients across employment, corporate, and M&A mandates. His earlier career included an in-house role at Sabancı Holding, one of Turkey's largest conglomerates, where he served as part of the central legal team advising the group's subsidiaries on all aspects of labour relations, including collective bargaining and internal investigations.

Kerem recently completed an LLM in International Business Law, Climate Change and Corporations at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, reinforcing his commitment to ESG-driven legal practice. He advises clients in English and Turkish.
