Nita Maru is the Managing Partner of TWS Legal Consultants and a UK-qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with over 25 years of post-qualification experience. Having trained and practised in London, she established TWS in 2009 to serve the unique legal needs of international individuals and families living in the UAE.

Recognising a significant gap in Succession & Legacy Planning and Family Legal Services for expatriates, she pioneered a practice model that integrates Wills, Inheritance, Family Law, Real Estate, and Corporate Structuring under one legal advisory platform.

Nita is one of the first lawyers to register DIFC Wills in Dubai and played a key role in shaping the DIFC Wills Service Centre rules. Her deep knowledge of cross-border Inheritance Laws, Sharia Implications, and Corporate Structuring has made her a trusted advisor to private clients, high-net-worth families, and Businesses.

In addition to heading the firm’s Private Client and Family Law departments, Nita leads TWS Corporate Services (DIFC) Limited, a sister company specialising in DIFC Foundations, Succession & Legacy Planning Solutions.
