Dennis has over 20 years of legal experience in corporate and commercial, mergers and acquisitions, securities, public listings, private equity investments, regulatory compliance, and trust. His clients include many public and private companies, state-owned enterprises, financial institutions and private equity funds.

Having spent the last 16 years in Beijing, Dennis has a thorough understanding of Chinese and international markets. By leveraging his experience in mainland China, he is able to help clients to achieve their strategic goals by bridging legal and cultural differences, including Chinese corporates seeking an international presence.

He is a co-contributor of the Hong Kong Chapter of the Chambers Global Practice Guides: Equity Finance 2024 on the trends and developments of the Hong Kong capital markets. He is also the author of "International Offerings - Secondary Listing in Hong Kong and Other Jurisdictions" in ALB – Hong Kong IPO Handbook 2020, "Specific Issues in IPOs" in IPO Handbook for Hong Kong 2017 and "Listed Company Compliance Issues" in IPO Handbook for Hong Kong 2015. He also spoke at various seminars and webinars on Hong Kong listings and offshore trust in recent years.

Prior to joining YYC Legal LLP, he was a Representative, Senior Counsel, and Of Counsel at various international law firms.
