Career

Flora is joint head of the care team with Jasmine. She specialises in complex proceedings concerning children, in both public and private law. Flora deals with cases involving neglect, sexual abuse and emotional harm. She is an accredited member of The Law Society’s Children Panel and represents children, parents and other family members in care proceedings.

She is praised by her client’s for her thorough and precise approach, which she delivers with kindness and empathy taking time to understand individual needs.

Flora conducts a great deal of her own advocacy and enjoys being able to support clients through the entirety of their case, including thorough preparation and representation at court as necessary.

What she enjoys most about her role is making sure parents and children are well supported, treated fairly and able to secure the best possible outcome.

Flora is committed to ensuring that children and families who are neurodivergent get the best possible support within the Family Justice System.  With a qualification in Understanding Autism she understands the very specific needs of her neurodivergent clients. She takes a tenacious approach to helping client navigate a system largely designed for neurotypical people. She works hard to ensure her clients can participate and that appropriate adjustments are made to accommodate them. Flora firmly advocates for equal access to justice for all.

Flora is a co-founder of FLANC – Family Law Advice for the Neurodivergent Community. She campaigns with fellow members to effect systemic change to improve help support and representation for neurodivergent  individuals passing through the family justice system
