Jack works in our highly-rated Succession and Tax Planning team, dealing with a wide variety of Private Client work.

He specialises in tax efficient succession strategies for individuals and families through lifetime planning and the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney, as well as assisting those with more specialised planning requirements.  Jack also advises on the settlement and management of trusts, and the administration of complex estates.  Jack originally joined Morton Fraser as a trainee in 2013, qualifying as a solicitor in 2015 and joining the partnership in 2021.  He values building relationships with clients of the firm over many years, often advising multiple generations on estate planning solutions that meet their unique needs.  He has particular experience in advising on succession to agricultural business and landed estates, and the complex legal and tax regimes associated with those.
