Career

I started working for Freeman Harris Solicitors back in 2015 with the sole aim of developing the companies IP department. I thoroughly enjoyed the work and started to get involved in other matters beyond marketing and growing departments. Since then, I have developed a keen focus on legal research, drafting and problem-solving. I have completed the Intellectual Property Law (IP Reg) PGCert, while undertaking further training contract drafting and negotiations. I am currently completing the Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice.

I also overlook marketing and manage some parts of Freeman Harris as a firm. If you make an enquiry with Freeman Harris about a contentious matter, chances are that you will be working with me. I deal with various clients and have a strong grasp of how to resolve legal issues. My business acumen and understanding is a great asset in helping clients with their business issues.

I primarily work with Ian Freeman and Lana James.

My recent highlights include:

  • Assisted the third largest Digital Talent Management Agency globally with legal compliance and restructuring to overcome a Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (POCA) investigation.

  • Assisted an international construction and heavy machinery company with various international disputes and general business management.

  • Assisting a successful fashion designer with a claim for unregistered design right infringement against a popular fast fashion company.

  • Drafting contracts and dealing with a complex dispute for the second-biggest content house in Europe.

  • Managing a growing salon franchise in England and making inways for expansion into Europe.

  • Overlooking multiple dispute’s for a social media agency and its content creators with a claim in the high court.

  • Assisted a very successful fashion house with their copyright dispute involving infringement of their images.

  • Reviewed contracts for a reality TV show celebrity for talent management.
