Junior Associate

Zeina Gad is a Junior Associate at Shield Advocates with experience in intellectual property prosecution, enforcement, and software compliance matters. She assists local and international clients with a broad range of IP-related work, including trademark prosecution, portfolio management, enforcement coordination, and administrative follow-up before the relevant authorities in Egypt.

Zeina is actively involved in handling day-to-day prosecution matters, including trademark filings, renewals, office actions, oppositions, and recordals, while also supporting enforcement procedures and infringement-related actions. She works closely with clients to ensure smooth handling of procedural requirements and timely follow-up on ongoing matters.

In addition to her prosecution and enforcement experience, Zeina has developed strong practical experience in software compliance and copyright protection matters. She regularly engages with infringing entities, conducts communications relating to unauthorized software use, and assists in negotiating compliance arrangements and settlement discussions aimed at resolving disputes efficiently and amicably. Her role also includes coordinating directly with clients, preparing reports and updates, and assisting in the implementation of enforcement and compliance strategies tailored to clients’ commercial objectives.

Known for her strong communication skills, responsiveness, and practical approach, Zeina is a valued member of the intellectual property team.
