Mahmoud Temsah is an Associate – Investigation Office at Shield Advocates, with extensive practical experience in intellectual property investigations, enforcement, and prosecution matters across Egypt. He plays a key role in supporting local and international clients in protecting and enforcing their intellectual property rights through strategic investigative work and on-ground enforcement actions.

Mahmoud is particularly recognized for his strong investigative capabilities and in-depth understanding of local market practices. He has conducted numerous investigations, market surveys, and intelligence-gathering operations targeting counterfeiters, infringers, and unauthorized distributors across multiple Egyptian governorates. His work includes identifying infringing entities, tracing supply chains, gathering actionable evidence, conducting test purchases, and coordinating anti-counterfeiting raids in collaboration with relevant authorities.

In addition to his investigative role, Mahmoud actively supports IP enforcement strategies by assisting in the preparation of cease-and-desist notices, criminal complaints, administrative actions, and raid coordination procedures. His hands-on experience and familiarity with governmental and enforcement authorities enable him to efficiently navigate administrative procedures and support swift action against infringing activities.
