Mohamed El Otafy joined Afifi in 2025 as part of the Dispute Resolution and Corporate practice. He holds an LLB from Assiut University, graduating in 2023 with distinction and honors, ranking among the top 10 of his cohort, providing him with a strong foundation in civil and corporate law.

Mohamed’s work in litigation includes drafting key pleadings such as statements of claim and memoranda of defense, active case management, and representation of clients in court hearings and expert witness sessions.

He regularly represents clients before key regulatory and governmental authorities in Egypt, including the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) and the Industrial Development Authority (ITDA).
