Career
Begad joined Afifi in 2025 in the Corporate and Disputes Departments. He represents corporate clients before Egyptian courts, advises on commercial and regulatory matters, reviews and drafts contracts, and handles company incorporations.
Since joining, he has broadened his practice to include labor, commercial agency, and competition law, providing regulatory advice and supporting high-profile clients across multiple sectors.
Begad brings a strong academic and practical foundation in arbitration. He was awarded First Place and Best Oralist at the AlexU–CRCICA Vis Pre-Moot IV and later served as an arbitrator in Vis Moot practice rounds. He is currently pursuing an LL.M. at Ain-Shams University and holds the Professional Corporate Lawyer Certificate.
Before joining Afifi, Begad interned at leading law firms, where he gained early exposure to both corporate and litigation work.
