Associate

Asser Negmeldin specializes in corporate law, compliance, and litigation before Egyptian courts. He joined Afifi Law Firm, in association with Dentons, in 2023 as part of the Corporate and Dispute Resolution team, advising multinational and local clients on complex regulatory issues and corporate governance.

Asser plays an active role in providing legal counsel, conducting in-depth legal research, and drafting and reviewing contracts across commercial, civil, and corporate domains. His experience spans company incorporation, employment law, and litigation management, as well as regulatory representation before key Egyptian authorities, including the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), the Egyptian Tax Authority, the General Organization for Export and Import Control, and the Central Bank of Egypt. He also has a proven record in successfully managing employment and legal disputes.

Additionally, Asser specializes in preparing documentation for Ordinary and Extraordinary General Meetings (OGM and EGM) and amendments to Articles of Association (AOA) for various entities. He has experience handling the enforcement of foreign judgments in Egypt, as well as managing work permit and residency procedures for foreign nationals before the General Administration of Passports, Immigration, and Nationality (APIN).
