Andrew has extensive experience advising and representing clients on commercial transactions and corporate matters, providing legal analysis from an Egyptian law perspective. He possesses deep knowledge of International and European Law, enabling him to assist clients with cross-border transactions.
Andrew’s diverse practice includes representing multinational corporations in complex corporate disputes before Egyptian courts and advising on transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other intricate business matters. He also advises and represents start-ups on energy-related projects, including the renewable energy sector and infrastructure projects.
Andrew has successfully advised and represented major multinational corporations across diverse industries on all aspects of competition law, with a particular focus on merger control in high-value, regionally and globally notable transactions, including numerous pre- and post-merger filings before the Egyptian Competition Authority.
His practice also extends to the aviation sector, where he advises leading aircraft lessors and financiers, managing all aspects of aircraft leasing, sale and leaseback transactions, disposals, and complex cross-border leasing arrangements.
Currently pursuing his PhD studies, Andrew recently served on Egypt’s Ministry of Justice Committee task force for the Digitization of Judicial Proceedings. He also sits on Egypt’s Dispute Resolution Sub-Group for the Aviation Working Group (AWG), advising on the alignment of domestic procedural law with the requirements of the Cape Town Convention (CTC) and the Aircraft Protocol (AP).
Additionally, Andrew is a member of the Association of Young International Criminal Lawyers and the Swiss Arbitration Association.
