She focuses on delay, disruption, and prolongation cost analysis under English law and the SCL Delay and Disruption Protocol, and regularly supports institutional arbitration proceedings before ICC and ISTAC tribunals.

- Advising on high-value international arbitration proceedings arising from major infrastructure and energy projects, including in-depth research on arbitrator jurisprudence and tribunal strategy. - Advising on marine and port infrastructure construction dispute, including detailed analysis of delay, disruption, and prolongation cost claims under English law. - Drafting and negotiating amendments to international construction and industrial contracts on behalf of multinational clients. - Supporting institutional arbitration case management, including procedural correspondence, hearing scheduling, and expert evidence review. - Preparing country risk analyses for international construction clients operating across emerging markets.

Alara Merzeci Kaleoğlu studied at The Koç High School, Turkey, graduating from the International Baccalaureate Programme. She went on to complete her LLB (Hons) at Durham University, UK, before undertaking the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, UK, and completing the Law Equivalency and Accreditation Course at Istanbul University, gaining admission to the Istanbul Bar.
