Chumphon has been practicing law for 19+ years and is head of the firm’s renowned litigation, dispute resolution & arbitration department. He is highly skilled at developing successful trial strategies and at gathering and applying evidence swiftly and effectively, and is a go-to resource at the firm for recent judgments and ongoing case and regulatory developments in Thailand. His legal acumen, foresight, and versatility are hallmarks of the practice. He handles all types of litigation, managing cases from initial contact through to settlement, and through mediation and trial. He has wide-ranging expertise across the whole Thai litigation space, and his specialisms include bankruptcy and business reorganisation, international trade and finance, and labour and employment legal management.

Chumphon enjoys coveted Legal 500 "Recommended Lawyer" status, and, immediately prior to joining IAS Advisory, was a senior litigator at another leading international law firm based in Bangkok. Prior to this he worked in the litigation division of a German law firm serving German and other European companies that operate in Thailand via subsidiaries and offices.

Chumphon has an LL.B. from Thailand’s Ramkhamhaeng University and is a member of both the Lawyers Council of Thailand and the Thai Bar Association. He is also a qualified Notarial Services Attorney.
