Represented a Jiangsu-based company in the first-instance trial of a contract dispute filed by a provincial state-owned asset management company, involving a claim amount of RMB 540 million. The case resulted in the plaintiff withdrawing the lawsuit. Acted for a fund (with one of the “Big Four” state-owned Asset Management Companies/AMCs as its Limited Partner/LP) in an equity repurchase dispute involving a claim amount of over RMB 560 million. Represented the actual controller of an A-share main board listed company in a contract dispute over debt assumption with a Fortune Global 500 company, involving a claim amount of approximately RMB 670 million. Acted for an asset management company (as a creditor) in bankruptcy proceedings, securing the recognition of its priority claim of approximately RMB 600 million. Represented a state-owned trust company in a trust project repurchase dispute against a financially troubled real estate enterprise, involving a claim amount of approximately RMB 500 million. Represented the founder of an A-share listed company (with a market capitalization of RMB 170 billion) in a post-divorce property division dispute. Handled the retrial and second-instance proceedings of a bond misrepresentation dispute—the first case of its kind heard by the provincial Higher People’s Court—involving a single-case claim amount of approximately RMB 80 million and a total claim amount of approximately RMB 1 billion. Represented a pharmaceutical enterprise in the retrial and second-instance proceedings of a financial loan contract dispute with a bank, achieving a complete victory (a ruling reversal) that exempted the client from guarantee obligations exceeding RMB 50 million. Represented the founder of an internet finance company in the retrial and second-instance proceedings of a valuation adjustment mechanism (VAM) repurchase dispute, securing a favorable ruling that avoided the client’s repurchase liability of RMB 10 million.
