Over the course of his professional trajectory, Ricardo Pieri has contributed to the advancement of criminal law through both practice and scholarship. He has authored several publications, including studies on non-compete clauses and their impact on criminal prosecution in unfair competition cases, proposals for altering jurisdiction to facilitate the adjudication of complex crimes with electoral implications, and reflections on the early recognition of retroactive prescription. His career also includes active participation in oral arguments before the Supreme Federal Court, demonstrating his engagement with high-level constitutional and criminal matters.

Graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and holds a postgraduate degree in Economic and European Criminal Law from the University of Coimbra.
