Hazal Damla İşbilen graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law and completed her LL.M in International Commercial Law at City University of London. During her postgraduate studies, she specialized in Banking and Finance Law and was awarded the City Law School Prize for her research on the legal and financial structuring of project finance transactions. Her research examined the legal framework of concession agreements, focusing on the role of performance guarantees, lender protections and contractual risk-mitigation mechanisms in ensuring the bankability and sustainability of large-scale infrastructure and energy projects.

She works as an Associate at SEKA Law Firm, where she provides legal advice on corporate transactions, contract law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), data protection law (KVKK), commercial law, and dispute resolution.

She advises both local and international clients, taking part in due diligence reviews, contract analysis, risk assessment reports and compliance processes. In addition, she assists companies in addressing legal matters related to their operational and financial structures and supports the development of practical legal solutions.

Combining her academic background with hands-on legal experience, she contributes to the development of sustainable and practical legal strategies aligned with companies’ growth and investment objectives and is actively involved in corporate advisory and M&A matters at SEKA.
