Senior Managing Associate

Can Yıldız is a Senior Managing Associate at GLED Partners Law Office.

He provides advice to Turkish and multinational companies active in numerous industries including FMCG and retail, automotive, finance, energy, transportation and digital platforms. His practice especially focuses on competition law matters, investigations within the scope of competition law, M&A transactions, and economic regulation. He has defended high profile undertakings active in numerous industries in over 40 investigations conducted by the Competition Authority concerning a broad array of allegations. Additionally, he has represented a variety of leading corporations operating in a wide range of geography including Turkey, Europe and United States in connection with merger control filings in Türkiye.

He advises and aids multinational and local companies on competition law matters on a daily basis. He further represented undertakings in annulment lawsuits and appeals pertaining to decisions of the Competition Board. He also provides assistance and consultancy with regard to data protection law, US economic sanction regime and international anti-corruption and anti-bribery compliance programs.

He graduated from Bilkent University, Faculty of Law.
