Criminal law

María José is a Law Graduate from Universidad Externado de Colombia, currently completing the requirements for formal graduation. She began her professional career at Baker McKenzie, where she worked as a Legal Assistant within the Intellectual Property and Criminal Law practices.

She later joined Riveros Bazzani Abogados, initially as a Law Clerk and currently as a Junior Associate. Her practice focuses on corporate criminal law, criminal risk management, crisis management, and criminal litigation involving companies, corporate representatives, and public officials.

María José obtained her law degree from Universidad Externado de Colombia. Prior to joining Riveros Bazzani Abogados, she gained experience at Baker McKenzie, participating in legal matters related to Intellectual Property and Criminal Law.

Throughout her career at Riveros Bazzani Abogados, she has been involved in corporate criminal advisory matters, criminal litigation, and the development of legal strategies for complex cases involving individuals, corporations, and public officials.
