Career

Daniel is a Barrister-at-Law (Lincoln’s Inn) and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2008. He is a founding partner of the firm and has led the firm’s Dispute Resolution practice since its establishment in 2012.

Daniel regularly appears as counsel at all levels of the Malaysian courts. His practice covers a wide range of commercial and civil litigation, with particular expertise in corporate and contractual disputes, shareholder and director litigation, fraud and asset recovery, liquidation,  administrative law, and contentious probate.

He has notably acted in numerous complex and high-value shareholder and partnership disputes as well as derivative actions and oppression petitions. Daniel is also frequently appointed in matters relating to liquidation and receivership.

Beyond his legal practice, Daniel serves as an advocacy trainer with the Malaysian Bar Council’s Advocacy Training Committee and is a member of the Taylor’s University Legal Profession Advisory Panel.
