Position

Kamen joined Chambers after completing her pupillage with Mr Norman Nip SC, Mr Osmond Lam, Mr Lawrence Hui, Ms Joyce Leung and Mr Brian Chok.

Before joining the Bar, Kamen worked as a journalist and documentary producer after graduating from the School of Journalism and Communication at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor degree at the University of Hong Kong and later a Master of Laws degree at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.

During her time at Penn Carey Law School, Kamen took part in a range of pro bono initiatives, including teaching constitutional rights at local high schools, preparing information on prisoners’ rights for correctional facilities, and providing support at the city’s legal aid clinic.

Kamen is developing a broad criminal and civil practice. She welcomes criminal instructions of all kinds. On the civil side, she is developing her practice across a range of areas, including judicial review, contractual disputes, property and probate matters, and matrimonial cases. In addition to litigation, Kamen is also developing an arbitration practice.
