Irène Léger is a Partner at STAUNCH. She acts as counsel under the rules of the ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, NAI and PCA on a wide range of commercial, energy, insurance, technology or post-M&A issues, conducted in English or in French. She also acts in setting-aside proceedings and in the enforcement proceedings of awards and judgments and in cross-border litigation.

Irène acts as arbitrator in arbitration proceedings, including at the NAI.

Irène has been practising international arbitration in the Netherlands and in France for more than 13 years. She joined STAUNCH in 2023 after having worked at De Brauw in Amsterdam and at Teynier Pic in Paris as a senio associate in international arbitration.

Irène has been recognised by Who’s Who Legal as a Future Leader in Arbitration since 2019. She has also been included in the inaugural Legal 500 Arbitration Powerlist 2022 for the Benelux.

Irène holds an LL.M. in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution from King’s College London, a specialised Master in Litigation, Arbitration and ADR from the Paris Pantheon-Assas University, and a Master in Law from Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne.
