Abigail has over 17 years’ experience in resolving large and complex commercial disputes and protecting her clients’ reputation, privacy and information. Prior to joining Quillon Law, she was a partner at Addleshaw Goddard.

Abigail is an experienced litigator who provides practical, commercially focused advice. She has acted for listed, state-owned and privately held companies, high net worth individuals, financial institutions and government agencies, in claims before the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. She also has experience in arbitration (under the rules of the LCIA, SIAC and UNCITRAL, as well as in ad hoc proceedings), together with other means of dispute resolution, including mediation, expert determination and adjudication.

Her areas of focus include contractual and warranty disputes, contentious trusts and civil fraud claims.

Alongside her commercial disputes experience, Abigail’s practice focuses on protecting her clients’ reputation, privacy and information, advising on defamation, malicious falsehood, confidentiality, privacy, harassment and data protection. She acted for the claimants in the UK’s largest defamation claim, successfully defended one of the earliest data protection damages claims and successfully represented c.100 victims of phone hacking.

She is a solicitor-advocate with full higher rights of audience in the higher courts.
