Rita Pérez joined Tactic Legal Guatemala (formerly A.D. Sosa & Soto) in 2007. Ms. Pérez is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to her real estate practice. Her broad experience in the field encompasses every facet of a real estate transaction. She has done it all. Often her advice and expertise cover the breadth of a real estate project: from property acquisition, planning and financing, to zoning, permitting, easements, construction and full development. Both professionally and personally, Ms. Pérez derives great satisfaction from seeing her clients’ visions and aspirations come to fruition. While at actic Legal Guatemala (formerly A.D. Sosa & Soto), Ms. Pérez has been involved in significant real estate projects, like the development of two shopping centers, several mixed use projects, six buildings, gated communities, and the zoning, fraction, and road access of a large property nestled between two municipalities, to name a few. Although significant real estate projects form a big part of Ms. Pérez’ practice, she also has tremendous experience with due diligence on property deeds, real estate closings, and drafting contracts for smaller commercial deals and individual real estate transaction
