Jose Javier Sosa,Founder – TACTIC Legal Guatemala, formerly A.D. Sosa & Soto.  Mr. Sosa is one of two partners that head the Real Estate department of the firm. His broad experience in the field includes easement disputes, foreclosures, injuries, neighbor relations, property deeds, and real estate warranties.

Mr. Sosa’s real estate practice has crossed-over to include practice in the firm’s Energy & Mineral Resources department. Recently, the firm began representing Empresa Petrolera del Istmo, S.A. (EPI), Guatemala’s largest oil operator. Mr. Sosa has taken the lead in assessing all of EPI’s expansion plans and spearheading the legal work the plans may require. Also, Mr. Sosa has been involved in securing environmental permits for exploration of a gold mine, as well as securing environmental and Ministry of Energy and Mining permits for new oil fields.
