Since June 2025, Hieke has been working at De Clercq as a legal associate. She specializes in Privacy, IT, and Cybersecurity, and has a broad academic background in civil law.

In her daily practice, Hieke advises companies and organizations on legal matters related to Privacy, IT, and Cybersecurity.

Hieke obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Law from Leiden University, followed by a Master’s degree in Civil Law at the same institution. During her Civil Law Master’s program, she also began a Master’s in International Technology Law at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, from which she graduated in early 2025. Throughout her studies, Hieke gained experience with several employers, including within the judiciary.
