Liban specializes in employment law. He advises both (large) employers and employees across various sectors on matters such as dismissal, reorganizations, employment conditions, and false self-employment. In addition, Liban is also involved in a wide range of issues related to employee participation.

Within the field of employment law, Liban handles a wide range of matters, including collective dismissals, cross-border misconduct, reorganizations, employee incapacity, and employment conditions. He combines employment law with employee participation law, advising works councils and executives on consultation and approval procedures. Liban also has a particular interest in issues related to the engagement of self-employed workers and advising on false self-employment.

Liban obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Law from Tilburg University. During both his bachelor’s and master’s studies, he completed several student internships at law firms specializing in employment law. These experiences further fueled his interest in the field. In 2024, Liban earned his Master’s degree in Employment Law from the University of Amsterdam. Alongside his studies, he was actively involved in extracurricular activities, including participation in an honours programme and serving on the board of a moot court association.
