Since the start of his career as a lawyer in 2014, Joost has fully dedicated himself to employment law. He has been part of Holla legal & tax’s Employment Law practice group since March 2018.

Joost advises and litigates on all aspects of individual and collective employment law. Within this broad field, he has developed particular expertise in employment law issues in the public sector and education, fines and warnings issued by the Labour Inspectorate, and employee participation schemes. In addition, Joost has extensive experience in works council law. For many years, he served as the chair of Holla’s works council, allowing him to bridge theory and practice seamlessly.

In 2021, Joost successfully completed the Grotius Employment Law specialisation programme cum laude, further deepening his expertise.

Joost is known as a practical specialist: he enjoys delving into complex legal matters but always translates them into clear, actionable advice. No lengthy or convoluted texts, but concrete and practical solutions you can put to use immediately.
