Rodrigo Gianni Carney has been a partner at GARÉ IP since 2008. He holds a Law degree from Universidade São Marcos in 2002, and has worked in industrial property since 2001, integrating teams from major law firms in the segment during his career. In addition to working in the administrative area of trademarks, patents and industrial designs, he has extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation aimed at combating counterfeiting, coordinating search and seizure efforts throughout Brazil.

He has consistent experience in actions aimed at the annulment and ratification of administrative acts carried out by the National Institute of Industrial Property - INPI and actions triggered by the retention of counterfeit products by Customs, as well as work focused on copyright protection and work within the scope of the Council for Advertising Self-Regulation  - CONAR. Rodrigo is also a specialist in consumer law and due diligence.
