Career
Ginevra Brutto is a Senior Associate at B-HSE and practises in environmental, food, health and safety, compliance and related regulatory matters.
She has developed significant experience in providing advisory assistance to companies and entities operating in highly regulated sectors, with particular regard to environmental compliance, food law, product and business sustainability, and health and safety issues.
Before joining B-HSE, she trained and practised at Pavia e Ansaldo Studio Legale, where she worked on environmental, food, health and safety, compliance and criminal law matters. She also completed a traineeship at the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Rome, within the team dealing with offences against the public administration and the environment.
Ginevra qualified as an Italian lawyer in November 2021. Alongside her legal practice, she has developed a strong academic profile in food law, sustainability and health-related regulation. She is currently a PhD candidate at Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and served as external research consultant in the PRIN project “Integral WELLbeing for human flourishing: healthcare and food from an ethical and legal perspective (I-WELL)”.
She also holds teaching appointments at Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma in food legislation and in the law of sustainability for food businesses, and serves as cultore della materia in European food law at the University of Tuscia and in environmental law at the University of Macerata. She is the author of publications on food law, sustainability and the legal dimensions of wellbeing.
