Rebecca leads our Dispute Transactions practice. She has over 20 years’ experience acting for clients in transaction disputes, and advising clients in respect of competition law matters, merger clearances and ACCC investigations.

Rebecca is an outstanding disputes resolution strategist with a comprehensive understanding of the disputes which arise in connection with public and private M&A, Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Investment Funds and Property & Real Asset Transactions and provides pragmatic advice and strategic  direction to secure the prompt resolution of disputes.

Rebecca has experience in the State Supreme Courts, the Federal Court and High Court and has solved problems for clients across all forms of transactions and her experience includes advising:

in relation to proceedings brought about by a founding Director in regard to minority shareholder oppression including the successful removal of a disruptive and disgruntled shareholder; in respect of warranty and indemnity claims under Share Purchase or Asset Purchase Agreements; to enforce restraints against former shareholders, owners or employees; in relation to a transaction post-completion earnout disputes resulting in a substantial uplift in earnout for our client and also defending earn out account calculations; in respect of competition issues and merger clearances; and a corporate advisory clients in relation to mandate terms and enforcement.
