Çiğdem Gizem Okkaoğlu is a partner at Günay & Erdoğan Attorneys-at-Law. With a background in industrial engineering, she brings strong analytical skills to her practice. She previously worked at the Turkish Competition Authority as a competition expert and case officer. Following her departure from the Authority, Okkaoğlu gained extensive experience in competition law and regulatory matters at leading international and domestic law firms.

Her areas of expertise include competition law, regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions, technology law, international sanctions and export controls. Okkaoğlu also has a strong interest in legal technology and is a co-founder of one of Türkiye’s largest legal technology platforms. As a valued member of our team, she provides strategic legal services to both domestic and international clients.
