Career

His practice focuses on strategic litigation and economic criminal defense, with a specialization in white-collar crime, money laundering, tax fraud, fraud offenses, corruption, and cybercrime. He has participated in high-impact cases at both nationally and internationally, including investigations into illicit electoral financing, large-scale tax evasion, cyberattacks against corporations in the telecommunications sector, and complex financial operations linked to money laundering. His approach combines legal analysis with forensic investigation and cyber management, enabling him to deliver technical and strategic solutions in highly complex contexts.

Before joining Solver Law, he worked at S-RM (London) as an Incident Response Analyst, where he gained hands-on experience in digital forensics, incident response, and cyber risk mitigation. His background allows him to integrate criminal law expertise with technology applied to corporate crisis management and the prevention of financial and digital crimes.

He currently serves as a professor at Universidad Francisco Marroquín, where he teaches the courses of Fundamentals of Criminal Law and Theory of Crime, Tax Offenses, and Criminal Actors. He has also taught Criminal Procedure and Crimes Related to Notarial Practice.

Attorney-at-Law and Notary Public, graduated from Universidad Francisco Marroquín (2018). He holds a master’s degree in Economic Criminal Law from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (Spain, 2021) and an LL.M. in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice from the University of Edinburgh (United Kingdom, 2022), from which he graduated with distinction. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in Corporate Criminal Law from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala and the international CompTIA Security+ certification, which attests to his technical competence in cybersecurity.
